An established national course now in its sixth year.


Across the year nationally recognised trainers will lead the group of up to 60 participants through 12 powerful workshop experiences. The training will lead individuals through vital emotional and practical issues in dementia care.

Options: certificate of attendance or

on completion of the programme participants may use the work undertaken to gain 30 level 3 credits towards a BSc or MSc in Professional practice (Dementia Care)at the University of Surrey.

The Diploma Level Programme is designed for Managers, Inspectors and Care Home staff working with people with dementia who wish to positively focus their work and face the complex and challenging issues within the field.


It is suitable for both care staff and those holding a professional qualification.
